Petrovsk regiment – converting Warlord plastics for the 1808 campaign

Some more Germans

These are a few more additions to my slowly growing Kursk project. The figures are slightly modified Warlord and Perry miniatures. The Perry figures are from the Afrika Korps range, but I replaced the heads and boots with Warlord pieces. Russian commanders

These are Russian generals by Warlord Games. They are very nice figures, just a shame they didnt bother to sculpt different horses – there are various head and arm options, but only one horse to choose from. As far as I know these are compatible with both the 1808-1809 and 1812 campaigns, or even later.

Early World War 2 British

These miniatures were some of the first ww2 figures I ever painted, only a few years ago. Most of them were made by Warlord Games, with a few being Gorgon Studios (with greatcoats and leather jackets). This is a first attempt at German panzergrenadiers as they would have appeared at the battle of Kursk in 1943. There are no miniatures available that are perfectly suitable for this period.
